Dragonfly YouTube Uploader is a private archival automation tool operated by The Dragonfly Catalyst™.
The application is designed to upload video files owned and controlled by the operator to the operator’s own YouTube channel through the official YouTube Data API.
The uploader preserves the numerical sequence of an existing video archive, uploads videos one at a time, records successful uploads, and continuously processes newly added videos as they become available.
The application is not offered as a public upload service and does not provide third-party users with access to the operator’s YouTube account.
Dragonfly YouTube Uploader uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services to authenticate the authorized YouTube account, verify the intended YouTube channel, upload videos, read limited channel/video metadata needed to prevent duplicate uploads, and manage video visibility where authorized.

How it Works

1. Video files are added to the operator’s local archive.2. Each archive video is assigned a sequential identifying number.3. Dragonfly YouTube Uploader identifies the next available numbered file.4. The uploader verifies the authorized YouTube channel.5. The video is uploaded through the official YouTube Data API.6. The returned YouTube video ID and upload status are recorded locally.7. The uploader advances to the next available archive video.8. Once the historical archive has been processed, the application waits for newly added videos and continues automatically.
